Congratulations to Year 11 on another successful year

We are very proud of all our students who have worked so hard and yet again Cove School has seen improvement in our overall attainment score and the highest number of top grade 9s, representing a 74% increase on last year. Several key curriculum areas have made significant improvement especially MFL, RS, Music, Computer Science and Triple Science.

Special congratulations go to Iniyal who achieved 7 grade 9s and also to Joe, Ryan, Diya, Samay, Iyanuoluwa, Kayleigh, Zahra, Julius, Anish, Susan, Nirbhik, Moses, and Daniel all of whom achieved a range of top grades that include the highest grade 9 - this is an amazing achievement through persistent and continuous hard work.

Huge congratulations must go to over sixty students who significantly overachieved their target grades by one or more grade levels. There are too many to list here, but this is a significant shift in our students’ expectations and aspirations to reach for the highest grades they can.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Cove who worked so hard with our students both in school time and outside normal working hours. Thank you to all our parents who support their child through such a challenging time and obviously to the students themselves who worked hard through to the very end.

We are never complacent and there is still much to do, however, this year for the first time in a while we are fully staffed with specialists in all areas.
