Our House System

We operate a strong House system within Cove School, linked to House Points, charity events and sports day.

All students and staff belong to one of four houses:

• Austen
• Cody
• Montgomery 
• Wellington

Every child is linked with a specific house which is identified by their house tie. The assigned house is often generational so that the whole family, if they attend Cove School, would have belonged to the same house.

All students have regular house assemblies, alongside the traditional year assemblies. The tutor system is house based which links into house competition, attendance rewards, charity events and sports day.

The inter-house competition runs throughout the academic year culminating in a whole school assembly and the announcement of the house winner, awarding of the house cup, and a morning of fun and games for the winning house on the main field.
