Admissions

At Cove School, we understand the importance of a smooth transition for all new students moving to our school.

We welcome enquiries from parents regarding places and our experienced team are always happy to arrange for you to visit the school and take a tour.

Cove School is its own admissions authority, but we work closely with the Hampshire school admissions team.

For further information about Admissions visit the Hampshire County Council Website

You can find our Admissions Policy at the bottom of this page:

Hampshire Local Authority is the admission authority for Cove Secondary School. In accordance with statutory requirements, we are formally consulting on the attached admissions arrangements for Cove School, for the school year 2027-2028 and would like to hear your views. The consultation period will run from 19th January 2026 until 28th February 2026.

There are no proposed changes – every 10 years it is a statutory duty to consult with all stakeholders.

Any comments you may have regarding the proposed changes should be sent to info@coveschool.uk .

At the end of the consultation period, the local Governing Body for Cove School will consider all comments received before determining the admissions arrangements for September 2027. These will be published on the school website following the Easter holidays.

We would be grateful if this information could be shared widely with anyone who might wish to comment.

Kind regards

Dr A. J. King

Headteacher
