SCHOOL CLOSURE (Thursday Only) | REDUCED HOURS (Friday)

Dear All,

We have walked the site today and about 60-70% of our classrooms are too hot and humid to work in.

In fairness staff and students have been amazing and pushing on, but several are beginning to flag.

As the heat accumulates over time, tomorrow will feel even hotter, especially if the temperature is the same as today. Therefore, I have made the decision to close the school all day tomorrow only.

On Friday - school will be open as normal (8:30 start), but we will close early at 1pm. We will extend break time so everyone can be fed, and lessons will be 50 mins long to ensure continuation of the curriculum.
