#Cove School 16 July
On Monday 13th July, we celebrated our annual Cultural Diversity Day, with students invited to come to school wearing their national cultural dress, continuing a much-loved tradition from previous years.
Throughout tutor time, students took part in a range of engaging activities, including a Cultural Diversity Treasure Hunt, which encouraged them to learn more about the many cultures represented within our school community.
At lunchtime, students enjoyed a vibrant cultural showcase featuring music and dance performances by students from Years 7 to 10. The event was expertly presented by our Year 10 students, Jemila, Jude and Hannah.
We were also delighted to welcome the Mayor of Rushmoor, Councillor Peter Cullum, alongside Mara Makunura, representing the Pride of Rushmoor Community Awards.
The day was a wonderful celebration of the rich cultural diversity within our school, and it was fantastic to see so many students taking part with such enthusiasm and pride. Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to making the event such a success. It is always a highlight of the school calendar and a celebration that our students look forward to each year.
